H2 antagonist/Antacids Vs no H2 antagonist/antacid

Please bare with me I'm kind of slow. I'm not intellectually Advanced like most people here.

So apparently the purpose behind taking an antacid is to stop the nitrite from converting into nitrate, salt, and nitric oxide.

But apparently nitric Oxide is a vasodilator and will help you pass our or lose consciousness quicker. Which supposedly will make it more peaceful.

What do you think the pros and cons of taking it and not taking it would be? I know I pretty much answered my own question I just want to get other people's opinions and maybe somebody who's educated on this can explain. Thank you.

You can use an acid reducer in the SN regimen, but is not mandatory. Acid reducers can be an antacid (neutralizes acid already in stomach) or an H2 antagonist (lowers production of new acid).

It is advised to use either an antacid or an H2 antagonist. One of the 2, not both.

Stuff with Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia, Maalox, Mylanta) are considered a useful antacid, but tums can be used too.

The H2 antagonist to be used could be Cimetidine (Tagamet), Ranitidine (Zantac), or Famotidine (Pepcid).

Thanks for your help. ♡ Honestly doesn't answer the questions though.. I have milk of magnesia and Famotidine. I was aware of its importance until the latest update now i don't know what to think.

in april version there is mention you can use h2 blocker or proton pump inhibitors. famotidine is h2 blocker you can use that

Remember you're taking 20 - 25 grams of SN. Even without an acid reducer your stomach/enzymes etc. cannot convert the entire amount of Nitrite into Nitrate/Salt/N.Oxide. I think you should stick to your original plan. It can't hurt.

I'm aware. I asked the question specifically because I'm trying to get answers and people's perspective on it.

I'm just wondering if there would be any negative affects of not taking one of those like stomach pains or something from the nitric oxide. Idk how this stiff works.
