I've never used social media but even if I did, I would never discuss emotional stuff. Firstly, if you were intent on CTB then it's only going to direct unwanted attention toward you. Second, you aren't going to get any meaningful support on social media anyway because of how detached the platform it. Thirdly, people on social media are just out to farm status and don't really care about strangers. It's sad but that's just how it is.

I had a friend whose little boy was having a tantrum in the grocery store. Total meltdown. He was on the floor screaming and crying.

An old man walked up to the boy, looked down at him, and said, "You. look. pathetic." And walked tf away.

The boy got up, dried his tears, and never had a tantrum in the store again.

Think you should delete your comments on Facebook. Talk about it on here or talk to people privately about it. It most likely won't present much in the way of positive responses, and will end up being embarrassing in the long run.

I am all for talking to people about it and getting help, but this just isn't a good way of going about getting that help.

As someone who has written countless moronic, hateful, embarassing, things via internet or text, I know that alcohol and technology don't go well together. I still make the mistake now and then but less so since i deleted fb years ago. Do what you can to get rid of facebook, change your password to something ridiculous that you could never remember and then hook it up to a new email and do the same thing with the email password. Problem solved, you won't be able to get back in.

Without context, meh. With context? It reveals a lot about the character.

"Just" is a negating term. This is someone who doesn't listen to the other person, but negates what they say and then explains them to themselves. This person is controlling and unaware. They're more into their own view and interpretations than the actual other person.

So there is tension between the two characters, and this is conflict.

What I think it foreshadows is that the one being spoken down to is going to have resentment and will at some point either fight back, capitulate to the other's control (and still have deep resentment stuffed down), or have a meltdown.
