I watch gore.

For me personally it desensitizes me to the act of suicide

I watch mainly suicide videos as well.

Also makes me feel not alone seeing many people actually follow through on it.

It does give a weird kind of rush NGL LOL

No I don't watch gores I used to in 2023 but not now as these vids makes me realize how horrible the world is, how everything is so uncertain I feel extremely bad for those for enduring extreme physical pain and I can't do nothing it's what the world is, violence intentionally or unintentionally happens everyday it makes me more sick to see and I feel very upset. So I just don't watch real gores.

It's not my cup of tea to watch it. I can't even look at any "graphic" content

I vicariously live through that sort of content.

When I feel really bad, I have my copes and this is one of them. I start seeing these images and videos as a way to just imagine me being that unfortunate person and, yes, even suffer like them and experience this excruciating pain and fear in their last moments.

I feel a little bit of satisfaction or pleasure because of projecting myself to those unfortunate people because of self-hatred almost like euphoria and then I come back to reality and realize I am still here and I start to envy those people.

I feel bad for these intense feelings, I hope I am not a bad person because of it but it is definitely a way to regulate myself when I really want to CTB without a proper method.

So yes, I too watch a lot of gore, but for immersion and relief.

I do. Personally, I like the fact that it shows the truly fucked up-ness of human. No lying; no pretending the world is all sunshine and rainbows. Humans are a plague to the Earth and its living things. I like that it's the truth. Of course tho, I don't like that things suffer, but I'd rather know the truth than be blinded. Plus, I live myself through them. I imagine me in their place, I deserve it, if not more than they do.

Literally almost had the exact same thing typed out. Esp the projecting myself and envying them. So many people & animals suffer and die and they don't deserve it. I do tho. I deserve to suffer just as much. That's why self-immolation is back on my list

I don't watch gore because it will make my SI worse watching people going through the dying process. I don't even like seeing it on TV as it looks so real now with today's technology. However, I did actively seek out the Perez Hilton video out of curiosity. It didnt bother me at all to see all the blood and cutting, but he didn't die. Maybe that is the difference for me.

I like watching people jumping off buildings, but not anything too gross, except it's drawn. There's so many sh and suicide content on r34 ^_^

hi Sayori :D

and yea, jumping is really the best option as it's simple (not to pull off but it doesn't need anything special), yet effective, and isn't being controlled as much as other methods like guns and SN (I can't buy it in my country or I didn't look enough)

Few days ago a guy from my town jumped from a balcony. 5 seconds and all his pain gone...

i started off watching livestreamed mass shootings because I had wanted to look into the footage of christchurch for a school project. Then I just got interested in other ones similar to it. I think that they are tragedies and I hate the people who committed them. I also watched a lot of videos of people killing themself so I could get an idea of what it would look like when I eventually do it. I have watched a few ISIS videos too but I only did that a few times and didn't enjoy it too much. I think it's just morbid curiosity for me, I am not a violent person at all, just curious.

How much do you watch? I struggle to find all too much. But yeah, I do too, I got into it to build up motivation to go through with it.

haha I guess I should have clarified a little more. I was doing a project related to modern neo nazi's and was looking for general info about the christchruch shooter when I found the watchpeopledie megathread. I certainly did not NEED to watch it for the project, but I wouldn't have been looking into him without it.

Wow, I'd ask where but not sure if that's allowed.

And yeah, motivation to kill myself. Get me used to the gore so if I were in a situation where I was alive and hurt, at least the sight wouldn't be as jarring, not much to do for the pain though.

Watching gore was an addiction for me that I recently relapsed into.

I got into it as a way to see what I'd look like dead and how people executed the methods I was thinking about. Eventually, it became moreso to desensitise myself to those methods.

The only gore i usually watch is when people ingest SN. I watch these videos not out of fascination for gore, but out of curiosity as SN is my method of choice. I once commented that I am suicidal on one of those gore sites and I got permanently banned in just few hours. I had no idea that some gore websites were so "allergic" to suicide. :O
