Going to use the tourniquet method

I feel like I have no choice but to end it, I am in a constant state of suffering from physical pain and have lost all of my mobility, can't even walk anymore. I really don't want to die, but I also really don't want to live like this anymore. Going through with this is going to be mentally challenging, I can't help but think of my loved ones, especially my daughter. But I don't really see them much anymore so that has made this slightly easier. I want to man up here and finish the job, I can't rely on people caring for me and my health just declining. Anywho...

I have chosen the tourniquet method but instead of making my own tourniquet, I was thinking of buying something like this.

There are cheaper ones available, but why take the chance with a cheap one. As far as I have read the key to doing this successfully is

• turning the windlass mechanism as quickly as you can to cause dizziness and then lock it in place. Otherwise you get the head full of blood and it gets uncomfortable quickly.
• place it high on the neck as to avoid the placing pressure on the wind pipe

Might place the order today and do a dress rehearsal when it arrives, and then do the deed the following week.

I'd welcome anyone who has any advice with this method or if just want to chat.

Haven't heard much success. Another one of those things that you have to know what you're doing properly

I haven't heard of this method before, but it sounds similar but not as good as the "night night" method. With that method, you don't have problem of putting pressure on the windpipe when done properly. Got exploding head when I tried it but I think if I kept turning the thing I probably would've eventually got there. But it wasn't comfortable at all. I'd be wary of the stick slipping out and the whole thing unwinding.
