Venting Gambling Addiction

I lost over 25 000 USD on gambling, throughout few years, most of it in December 2025. (It's like 2 years worth of salary where I'm from)

I don't have a job, I cannot image working, with how terrible my depression and anxiety are. I hate it at home, I hate my parents, I tried to move out when I had money, but no one accepted me to rent their place.

Therapy didn't help and I don't think I will decide to not gamble.

I always wanted to have someone who loves me. If I can't have a relationship, nor good friends, there won't be a cure for my addictions.

It's a sad reality, I don't want to gamble, but it's not my choice anymore.

Do you have any experience with Gambling or other Addictions?

I have both lost a lot of money and made a lot of money in crypto. I think the worst part about gambling is when you win you feel like you will make back the money you lost.Then you end up losing again instead and It's a vicious cycle all over again.

I completely gave up on day trading though, which is what made me lose money in the first place. Now I just invest wisely in the bear market and wait. It's a long game, but it's profitable.

I don't care about money right now, as I know it mostly can't buy me happiness. Just a short time dopamine high. So there's no reason to invest, but I get your view.

Therapy failed me too. This shit didn't work at all, I was the same person in and out :/. Even medication didn't work.
