Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Relationships, learning new skills, interacting with nature and animals, helping others, dedicating your life to science. There are a lot of purposes, I think most people don't overthink it. They have their purposes in them either because of trauma, envy, anxiety, interest, obligation.

Some people have a hunger to live… To create and thrive and build lives that are rich with relationships and connections… I used to have a bit of that But experienced some defeats and disillusionment… Now it just feels like I'm missing out on everything… I'm on the outside of the party looking in the window… there really is absolutely no point…

There is no point to living. The idea that life has any purpose or meaning is a delusion. All that humans are doing is just distracting themselves from the fact that they will die eventually someday. I see no reason to suffer when instead I could be peacefully not existing. I think that wanting suicide is the rational response to seeing the world for what it really is and those who want to live in such a cruel world where so many awful things happen must be deluded in someway. The fact that death is inevitable for us all is extremely comforting and I could never see life as being worth living. To me non existence will always be preferable.

I'm with you there. None of it makes any sense. It's my opinion that none of this matters at all. We're all going to die, eventually. Humanity, and everything we are will die, and we'll all be nothing. Knowing the secrets of the universe means nothing because of this. I don't know.
I just feel like if you.. I don't wanna sound like some fucking smart ass or whatever, but I feel like if you think about life really carefully, you'd come to the conclusion that nothing matters at all. At least, if you don't believe in an afterlife. It's up to whoever whether they want to continue living or not, and achieve fame or happiness or love or notoriety or whatever. But you can't take those with you when you die. You don't even have your memories past death. So what's the point? If we're all really as significant as a centipede?
To think we're worth anything.. I don't understand. It's sort of why I'm not planning a suicide note, nor am I preparing anything after my death. I'll be gone, and when I go, everyone and everything that's in my story of life will also go. I don't know. Sorry for the rant. Call me arrogant, which I think I am, but it irks me when people say.. There's meaning to life.. Like the guy earlier in the thread. I guess it.. I feel like people don't understand what "our existences don't matter" actually means..

None of it matters in the long run from my conclusion. Nihilism seems to be an all-encompassing way of life if you really take it deep enough, and can lead to bleak personal outcomes when you find that everything you do is futile, and creating your own meaning is short-lived, and disappointing. Suicide is perhaps the only way out of this hell, hopefully.
