I tried to install whonix in order to buy nembutal but damn the installation commands keep giving me errors.

It's just that with whonix I would be able to quickly minimize my tab to my regular desktop if my parents enter my room. so that's why I chose whonix over tails which can't be run in a virtual machine so it's lackluster compared to whonix.

Or just install some Distro on a vm/ temp duel boot a distro and install tor on it

why dont you use tor?

Cause tor on it's own has terrible opsec. It's developers were embroiled in some controversy
