Forum tech curiosity

With friends, we're trying to setup a new community about a totally unrelated subject. We evaluate forum template options and the ones which retain our attention are Discourse and the one used here (found elsewhere). Could somebody knowledgeable name the engine/layout used ? It's unknown to us.
For certain, we're far away from phpBB and vBulletin. I only know about XenForo which is as neat about the user experience

edit : My bad, it's also XenForo. It didn't look that way.

I'm at another XenForo based forum and they apply more clever settings, like indicators at a glance showing where you participated, with which reactions, the topics already seen.



Couldn't we have the same settings activated here ? It's convenient
