For those of you who have downloaded the April 2022 PPeH from the resources section, did it give your computer a virus?

I want to download this thing for advice on N but my antivirus keeps giving me a warning about it. I just wanna make sure that if I turn off the antivirus it won't fuck up my computer / personal info potentially. It's the link from anonfiles

In case your are unsure of whether a downloaded file contains a virus, or not, upload the file to VirusTotal at the link below. If you see any red virus scan results, delete the file from your device. If you only see green virus scan results, the file is most probably safe to use.

I haven't downloaded the most recent one, but I did receive a warning. I only have the 2021 outdated version, but no virus came with it.

NO. It does NOT contain any viruses. Did you get a bunch of popups? Popups are not viruses. The popups are coming from the host, not the PPHe. There have been numerous discussions on SS about installing GOOD Ad-blocking software, an extension, something, before trying to download the PPHe. There are no viruses in the PPHe.

I cannot figure out how to open it on Mac. I dont get the popups but can't figure out how to open the disk image. help?

I downloaded it today and it just came across as a normal pdf file, no viruses.

it's a text document not an executable file it's not going to have a virus. just make sure to download the actual file..
