Help Fitting for DeBreather method for inert gases

I've got a set up with a 40 Cubic feet of Nitrogen, a escmode regulator, and a NRB mask, however, as I'm reading in the peaceful pill handbook and in my own trials, I've been having trouble with getting a good seal.

I know @Greenberg has this kind of set up, just wondering if there's a work around to this or should I just try to go for the bag method?
