In a recent video, from the influencer @sweeter_nk, that has a couple of days and you can find in wpd, I noticed that she has to reposition the rope on the neck and has some coughing, before she succeeds to ctb.
Is there anyone that has a way to find that spot easily, or it will be trail and error?
I already am using a mini towel around the rope so it does not hurt so much, and have yet to try the socks trick to see if they are more effective do press the carotid. And there was a time that I start to see things blurred, but cannot reproduce things easily.
So the sweet spot is somewhere out there in the upper part of the neck bellow the jaw.

It technically depends on the person, you have to test and see which is best for carotid compression, you can even look for them with your hands.. Where you find a heavy deep pulse is likely where the carotid is iirc, holding your breath helps as well
Also, something many people forget is to relax their throat before trying partial, you are technically supposed to be able to breathe out and relax your throat muscles so it's more likely to get flattened rather than stay stiff, I'm unsure how else to word it as english isn't my first language, sorry!
Also if you hold your breath while looking for the spot it may be easier to notice, good luck!

tbh there is a high chance that she passed out because of the pills not because of the sweet spot

What I did was exactly what you said, and the moment I instantly felt faint is when I stopped and looked in the mirror. What materials did I use? Where is the rope positioned? How was my body positioned?

Does anyone know what pills they were? I saw threads here that pills and alcohol beforehand makes it harder as you make mistakes not easier

I saw some comments saying they were anxiety pills, may be true because she is japanese but it happened in South Korea so I doubt she had access to something else.

Sure but if hanging setup is already tested before (anchor, rope, knot and being alone for 1h+) what kind of other mistake you could make? she clearly made it work
