The thing that angers me most is that the scammers will now be thinking that now @JustAboutDone has gone, it will be much easier to get away with what they are doing, because sadly, a lot of people aren't as cautious or inquiring as she was.
I agree with you that @Johnnythefox and @Chinaski are good at sussing out the scammers, and hopefully other people will have learnt from what happened to be more careful when it comes to people who can access and offer access to N.
tbh I'm quite sick of this website now, I'm reluctant to spend as much of my time on here anymore, it's become a hostile place where trolls prey on vulnerable people, the people who call them out are called bullies, and there are Alts and others defending this sort of behaviour.
These past few days personal attacks were made against users who challenged obviously dishonest behaviour, including @JustAboutDone, which seems to me not a defending of "freedom of speech" or "innocent until proven guilty" but to discourage people from challenging them, or out of simple arrogance and an unwillingness to admit fault.

Scammers and trolls, are you proud of yourselves for scaring people off and trying to destroy the only place where this shouldn't happen? This place should to be a safe haven for people who have no where else to turn to but alas like all things it just turns to shit. Wow.
I'm doing some clean up to hopefully root out these scammers and trolls.
I do agree it isn't the same here since @JustAboutDone left, especially as she was afraid that speaks volumes !!!That's an interesting story ...
