Every ones body is different.Too many factors to give an exact number of hours an individual would need to fast. There are times I'll eat dinner at 6pm, wake up 12 hours later, burp and still taste last night's dinner. So for me, I'd say I'd need at least 18-24 hours to be sure (depending on what I've eaten). If it's too complicated to figure out for yourself I'd have to say 24-48 hours to be safest.
