Falling off a Building or Falling into Rope??

I prefer the idea of going out via falling but I have kids and I know that's more gruesome. Anyone know just how gruesome? There's still a body right?

The other one I would consider is partial but I don't like the risk of doing it wrong and it not being final.

The other methods I've seen mentioned don't really appeal to me.

What's your opinion on what is better for success vs. my preference vs. impact on family / kids?

The condition of that body after jumping is usually not going to look good but the degree depends on different factors (height, impact area and how your body impacted it).

My current method is full suspension but I don't like partial because there is a high chance of of failure. Jumping used to be my preferred method. I know it has a high success chance if done well but nowadays I'm just very terrified of it.

I won't say choose this option because the law here is against it. Also we two don't have the exact views. But if I've the option of only jumping and partial then I will first try partial and if I still continue to fail several times then I would go with jumping.

Both methods are going to be fucking disturbing to them. Any way out is going to be disturbing.

I've seen a lot of gore pics/videos of people falling...it's pretty gross. The hanging pics are gross too.

It's a lose-lose situation.

The hanging pic of that Brazilian? guy didn't look as bad as I expected. It made me consider partial instead of only jumping, although I still don't like the high risk of failure. Although he did it impulsively and it seemed to go smoothly for him.

Jumping has a higher success rate if you pick the place right in terms of height. In terms of gruesome, yeah jumping is more gruesome, but tbh death will traumatized people no matter what. The only methods that in my opinion are more traumatizing to people are cutting, shotgun/firearms and self immolation. In my opinion, all others are pretty much the same level of trauma.

Bad jump/ fall = gory. At least with hanging, it won't be so bad if you are found by someone else other than family. It will still be a shock no matter what method you decide on, but I think that suicide by inert gas is best for those worrying about the visual impact of the scene.
