Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So I ended up failing at my attempt of a Benadryl overdose Monday. I was found and then taken straight to hospital and spent time in the ICU then I was on a 72 hr hold in the mental hospital. So I'm back again as promised. Refining and searching for another way. Thanks everyone who wished me well

Do you mind sharing the dosage that you took? and also, How was the experience? I have heard Diphenhydramine, has terrible side effects, when taken in overdose amounts..Thanks.

It's a delirium. On high doses, you can find yourself doing some of the craziest shit. It also raises your bp through the roof. I'm certain I've had a few mild strokes. I had a nasty habit at one point. I could throw back up to 1100mgs over the course of 24 hours. I'd wake up the next morning with all types of half cooked meals, random things thrown about as of i were attempting to build something.
I started to barricade myself in during sessions after i almost went for a drive one night.
I've never had a scary experience but i don't recommend it. Lots of people say it's awful. Many reports of seeing bugs and things.
Go to erowid and read some trip reports.

Cold medication od also sucks. I tried about 15 years ago the first time. My ears were ringing and I couldn't sleep. It felt kind of like meth which I hate. I think it wore off after a day. I lived alone so no one knew or ever found out.

OD'ing isn't effective at all and if you are still here, is your stay involuntary or voluntary? If it's voluntary, then you might still able to legally purchase a firearm (if you are considering firearms as a method of escape) provided that you meet the other criteria (no serious criminal convictions - anything more than 1 year in jail, no felonies, no controlled substance usage (yes marijuana is still prohibited at the federal level), etc.).
If you aren't going via firearms or cannot access firearms, then I would recommend other methods that are less painful, such as the night night method, CO, inert gases, etc.

Benadryl as in the hayfever medication? I didn't even know one child attempt to OD on it. I used have hayfever, if I only I knew ;)
I hope you get through it and find a better method. I think if you are really serious about it you should consider the 'serious' methods like N, CN, exit bag or SN.

Really sorry this happened to you. I had a similar attempt, I took 330 25mg tabs, was so painful, had seizures, pounding heart, difficulty breathing, etc. I hope you find a better method.
That's how the diphenhydramine feels in large dosages. Once i learned to resist the urge to sleep, it gave me a rush of energy.
I just want to do all the things! I Mostly wanted to learn random stuff. Like on addy.
Same thing with coracidian (spelling) and day time cough med with pseudoephedrine. I wouldn't drink the otc cough medicine to high... high. But i noticed it relieved my anxiety and lack of focus.
I'm not recommending anyone try these for recreational purposes. Just sharing.

Wait, you took 8,250 mgs of benadryl at once? That had to be terrifying. My heart rate increases at about 900. That's when i start to loose feeling on either side of my body. My arm and or leg would just fall dead. It was always scary because I'd literally just fall or drop whatever i may have been holding. I stopped taking them consistently because the last "loss of appendage control" lasted about a minute. That's a long time to have a arm go dead.
Did you swallow them all at once? Were you found? You didn't immediately throw them up? How long was the hangover/ recovery time?
if this is too personal or traumatic for you to discuss, plse ignore my questions. : )

Prescription pill overdose. Can't recall which ones, just know they were for depression and anxiety. Was stocking up on them overtime and swallowed them whole one night. Next morning I could barely walk or talk, short term memory was severly impaired, and other symptoms I can't really explain or remember:(

Aww, man—lucky for you for given whatever state you live in! Where I live, you can't apply for a FOID if you've been psychiatrically hospitalized within the last 5 years—and it doesn't matter if it was voluntary or not. Ugh!
