Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What experiences have you had following the death of a loved one? In 2014 I lost an uncle suddenly and in 2017 I lost my grandma to cancer. Following both of these deaths I would have dreams where they appeared and I would be unsettled by this, because I knew they were supposed to be dead, and usually something was off or they just weren't quite right.

I had a dream with this uncle nearly on the 10th anniversary of his death where he was alive again and catching up with his kids and how the world has changed. This time it wasn't unsettling, it was very normal and comforting and I thought to myself how even if it was temporary, I was happy to see him again.

This has also happened with my cat who died a handful of years ago at the age of 20. Actually quite often I have dreams/partial sleep paralysis where I feel him jump on the bed or onto my chest.

I've never been a spiritual person, I think largely there are other explanations for these phenomenae outside of the spiritual, but I think they can be comforting or healing or just part of the acceptance of death nonetheless.

I saw my dad randomly after he passed. My mom too, but mostly in dreams. It's well documented and common when grieving. I try to think of it as my brain processing.
