Yeah- that's so true. It's difficult though- how do you form friendships when there is no trust? I don't really form friendships now but it's kind of sad really. I try to be grateful for what time people give me but as you say- it's better not to expect it.

Friendship is also your expectation, you can just give it up as long as you have a strong and independent mindset.
Sadly that mental state is difficult to reach for most of us, we need others' acknowledgement and companionship.
