Hello everyone!
I have a question regarding the hose that goes attached to the Nitrogen Cylinder. Ive seen diagrams of the hood and how to make one, but Im wondering how to attach the plastic tube which seems lets the gas flow in bigger amounts than the ending of the CGA 580 entrance/exit of the welding gas hose. What other pieces are needed to attach the plastic tubing without leakage? Thanks to everyone in advance:)

Your question is unclear: are you referring to the hose from the cylinder (as depicted) from the gas cylinder OR the tube from the flow regulator to the hood/bag?

For the former: You would not need anything else since the connector is NPT (National Pipe Thread) compliant. NPT means that the thread is gradually tapered along the connector, making the connector leakage resistant.

For the latter: Just use normal packing tape.

Hope that helps. Best regards!
