Exhaust leak

So the plan is creating an exhaust leak in ab old car and falling sleep inside it in the garage to make it appear as accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

How likely it is to be succesful with this method?

A couple of months ago there was this news about two friends that died this way and it was declared an accident.

This guy did it in his old collectible Porsche. Watch out if there are other people in the house I saw on the news someone did it and it ended up poisoning their whole family sleeping in the house as the CO leaked from the garage

I also have a classic car with no emissions controls (from 1971) and considered this method. I've had the worry about poisoning others (when they come home) or my cats. I figure I could lock my cats on the in a room on the other side of the house and open windows etc.

I let old gas sit in it too long (I don't drive it enough) and now it doesn't start.
