Help Exes birthday as a ctb date?

Is it disrespectful to ctb on my ex boyfriends birthday, he took his life a year ago and I felt it would ... be a good way to end my story.

I don't think it's disrepectful, especially when he is already dead. But I want to recommend you to make sure you are going to do it for yourself, not for him, though I understand he still means a lot for you. Your story is yours.
