Yes, that is understandable. It is perfectly rational wanting ctb when you have a hopeless future ahead of you. Life is very unfair and many people are disadvantaged through no fault of their own. I think people must be delusional to say poorer countries are happier.

I'm a bit depressed but my thinking is clear as a bell. Most of the people on this forum sound completely coherent. If you had asked me a year ago, I probably would've said that suicide was a result of some type of madness. I stand corrected.

People who say that anxiety is irrational thinking are fucking imbeciles.

There are mental illnesses that are truly neurological such as skizophrenia or dementia. But severe anxiety and depression are fully logical and fully due to the environment.
