Yet when I posted mine only one person gave a shit to say anything, I ended up failing and being severely injured

I post here on occasion, I see people who never post get more love when they post their "I'm ctbing" post

So what is it, is there something wrong with me? Did I say or do something wrong?? I want to know why people fucking hates my presence even when I haven't done jack shit

Is it the "vibes"? Does the entire world know something that I dont? What is it, for decades I've tried to find a God damn hint, for decades I constantly review my god damn behavior and everything through a fine comb to try and figure it out

I'm sorry you've ended up injured. What exactly did you say in your goodbye post? Did you explicitly you ask for help? The general consensus on this forum is that if someone seems sure of their choice and their method seems sound, then nobody is going to try to talk you out of it. I'm not sure about the lack of goodbyes though, but sometimes things slip through the cracks, especially if it was posted late at night in a popular timezone.

its nothing personal, some people just are unsure of what to say, if what they say will be ok. some people also dont check every thread here. its not about hate or anything bad. theres also times where this site is more active at later times and threads will be pushed down more and more, not everyone is online constantly esp in mornings.

Can only speak for myself - in my case it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with times of my visits here. New threads window, you know, little one on the right, on the main SaSu page, contains only 4 or 5 new posts. If i see someone here, giving their goodbyes, i'd most probably join in and wish them painless journey but it's not like i hunt for new posts of people who gonna ctb soon so there's strong possibility that i haven't even seen your post.

Besides, the fact that your attempt was fucked has nothing to do with amount of people wishing you luck. You didn't reach enough speed and didn't hit critical parts hard enough on your way down. It's just physics. No amount of good luck wishers would change that so blaming others that you still draw breath is kinda unfair.

I'm sorry you experienced a lack of kindness and love. I'm personally new and can say for myself that if I specifically see a goodbye post I wouldn't comment unless I've interacted with the person before, and more than once. It has to be very painful to say goodbye and perhaps feels rude to try and talk someone out of it, which is frankly the course I'd probably be inclined to take. And then I'd get religious and the entire forum would hate me and I'd get reported.

I just think most people here are looking for methods. So they are probably avoid posts like that or don't even reply. Of course, I saw that posts of this type have a reach, but it happens more often when there is already a liked and well-known person here Please don't worry, you are meaningful soul. Take care

Damn. I feel for them, but this is not the place to be if you're looking for someone to stop you, especially if you don't ask. If they'd given the details of their plan, i'm sure someone would have been able to warn them. This sucks :(

I was not seeking help to be talked out of it, I was just seeking to be a bit less lonely before I thought I was gonna die.

To everyone else, thanks, I've not been feeling great about how people see me and its not like I can just read minds or ask anytime I'm unsure.. I've learned people hates being asked this sort of question.

i understand how you feel. i'm also trying to figure out what's so wrong with me and why i never seem to be worth anything to anyone. i've also been ignored here many times, but that's just how it goes on sites like these. i've posted about it a lot it, it's really sad. i'm sorry you have to feel alone as well.

this especially resonated with me. it hurts so much and it all feels so pointless.

to be fair, i think a lot of people might've just missed your post. also, people don't actually care. even with the goodbye threads that get flooded with comments, the people commenting don't really care. excluding the few people saying goodbye to someone they actually interacted with, most of these people don't hold any amount of care or concern for the person they're saying goodbye to. they just comment to make themselves feel better. humans simply don't care and empathy barely exists and that applies to everyone. even on a site like this, the people are still just humans at the end of the day: no genuine care for anyone, only acting out of moral obligation to make themselves feel better. i see it a lot, someone crying out for help and support constantly, just to be ignored every single time. but as soon as they make a post announcing their ctb, it's flooded with comments of people wishing them well, etc.
no one cares until it becomes extreme, and even then, no one really cares. you were just unlucky enough to have a post that flew under the radar and i'm sorry that happened. i know acknowledging this shit doesn't change anything or help, but i hope you can see that it's not really personal. humans are just garbage.

funnily enough, this might be part of it. at least on this site, most people will gravitate to the profiles with aesthetics that resonate with them or users with avatars of characters they like. some profiles really catch my eye, and i end up paying attention to their account more than others. even i don't interact with them, i do notice them more. i've noticed that a good chunk of the active users here are pretty young (<25), so that stuff really does matter.

i'm sorry you have to experience so much suffering. it's awful what happened to you and i hope you can recover as soon as possible.

In your post you sounded angry and spiteful. I don't blame you for it because you may have felt that way. In those situations however, people often don't know a good way to respond. Inviting people to engage with you would be helpful. Asking would be better, especially if you expressed a positive desire to engage with others. Perhaps try an experiment. Find a very old post by a former member which resembles what you're feeling and using the same format. It may be a little late since your situation has changed but familiarizing yourself with how others present themselves would most certainly yield a result you will appreciate more. No, it's not "you" but it's your experiment and this is a good way to practice how to be more inviting with words. We can't see you and don't know more than what you share. Please trust me when I say that we've all tried different approaches in life when seeking a desirable response. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Being confrontational or angry in your message will often scare people away.
