Ever since i was a kid i was told to not cry no matter what, tough it out because "men don't cry"
Sure i guess when i was young not crying for a scratched knee wouldn't be so bad, but now as an adult, dealing with strong feelings is unbearable, i don't show anger i don't cry, there's no fucking release, i'm on fight-or-flight every damn second, it's wearing me out.
Even on days where i can't bear not to cry i don't end up reaching catharsis, it feels terrible, i want to live a few more months but some days push me to the edge
