Argentine football (soccer) player Emanuel Mammana has revealed in an interview that he was about to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train, but was grabbed by someone and pulled back.

The Argentina and River Plate defender told Radio La Red that losing his parents was extremely hard on him and that he had decided to commit suicide.

Its not the fault of society. The guy loved his parents. I was wondering, btw,if Sinead O'Connor really loved her son; some parents can be self obsessed. Or is she heartbroken. I don't know. Sinead, you out there?

Narcissism and loving others are not mutually exclusive. The human mind and psyche can be paradoxical.

I can absolutely understand what he feels. When someone you love dies or leaves, it's like a part of you died with them. I hope he is doing better.

I hope he doesn't get ridiculed for it. I've heard people call a German soccer player a wimp for committing suicide.

I can totally relate to this football player. My mother raised me as a single parent. She was my rock and my world. My uncle died not long afterwards. I was very close to him as well. It sucks when people you love die and let me tell you time doesn't heal anything. All it does is make you miss them more. I will be joining them soon.

I am not sure, but I do remember reading that she suffers from really bad anxiety. Her anxiety is so bad that she doesn't leave the house to even grocery shop. Something had happened where she was unable to get food to eat and she went on Twitter or something to make everyone aware of her anxiety and situation. I wish people would understand that these mental issues can be hereditary and think before having children. One of the reasons I never had children (besides not being married) is that I suffer with anxiety and have a very delicate system which was passed down from my dad. No child should have to live with anxiety or the possibility of getting a mental illness which is present in both sides of my family. That's just my opinion.

I completely I agree. As much as I loved my mother and miss her, I still wish she never had me. She had many problems with mental illness in her past and so did my grandmother. I am an Antinatalist when it comes to children.

This is a bit weird. I mean, l doubt very much that Sinead O'Connor is reading any of this, but even if she is, she doesn't need to account for herself in the wake of the suicide of her child.

Yeah, I read into that story more. He has a family now. I am glad he made it because I truly don't want to see people end their lives 'if' they find better ways to live.

Sorry. I was just doing that thing people do sometimes when they speculate about the private lives of famous people. I now know that is "weird."😉
