I love this thread! I am 44 and I have always loved Elmo. When I was 16 I begged for the elusive tickle me Elmo as a Christmas gift.
And it's weird, but seeing a darker version of Elmo doesn't bother me at all. I still find it funny as hell.

The voice actor for Elmo, Kevin Clash, also voiced The Baby from The Dinosaurs. Here, he loses his mind while doing "the voice."
TBH... 37V isn't "high", not even lethal. He should have stayed at 30V/~1A for a while to see whether anything interesting would have happened. I guess the plastic of the motors would have started to melt after a few minutes
. He went too high and burned the coils at about 32V...Last edited:
