The first drawer of my dresser was empty, so I thought: what a nice home for my rope!

Mom says she's going to put some clothes in the dresser and I'm like: sure, whatever. Some random thread triggers me to do some knotting practice and... now there are T-shirts in the drawer, the rope is gone.

I can't remember whether it had a knot or not. She said nothing.

I'm not panicking, just curious and annoyed.

Edit: found it, bus-catchers! No knot then, I guess. She put it in a box, maybe figured it didn't look too aesthetic with the shirts.

My mom found a knife I had sharpened to the point of absurdity when I lived on my own for a while and got scared, I was just like "it's dangerous if the knives aren't sharp" and managed to calm her down very quickly. If family members find pieces of 10mm static climbing line they would get suspicious, but I plan to say that it's just in case I have to commit suicide due to geopolitics/AGI/whatever and that I've had it for four years rather than four months. Should be fine, idk.
