Its really getting on my nerves when people say suicide is the easy way out. Who are they to judge. I'd like to see them in mental agony and say the same thing. I feel suicide is good people trying to do the right thing for others.

Yes I keep saying I'm going too do it then bottle it. I've had previous failures but recently I keep bottling trying again. I always treated people how I'd like too be treated and never wished ill on anyone. Yet still get unbearable mental pain. Hence why I'm done with life.

People don't understand what is it that drove us to this decision in the first place. It's not like our first thought was to CTB. After constant misery, disappointment and heartache.. we chose this path.
In fact, even attempting to CTB takes effort and courage. I remember when I purchased SN, I stared at the page working up the courage to click 'buy'. Took me a good 30 minutes before I proceeded with it.
Suicide is not easy.

Suicide is not the easy way out, as others have said it requires courage and it is hard to do, as our brains are programmed for survival. It is how we have evolved. Some people just get desperate and they cannot cope anymore. For many people it is the only way to be free from pain and suffering. People who say things like that more than likely haven't been suicidal themselves so they cannot comprehend what it is like not to want to be alive.

It's definitely not an easy way out, as you said. It's an extremely reasonable path if you ask me, given the horrors of existence. Also, personally I don't plan to ctb for others, just myself. There may be other people who ctb because they think it would benefit others, that isn't me though. First and foremost, I'm doing it for my own good.
I can see how it can be annoying, but as you become more self reliant emotionally it will stop bothering you in all likely hood. The majority don't think of suicide for five minutes and simply soak up like a sponge whatever the culture garbage is around it. You can see the same platitudes from hundreds of years ago if you really want to.
