Hi everyone, I have failed multiple suicide attempts from cutting my wrist vertically to overdosing. Nonetheless, the closest time I came close to death was when I overdosed on Dextromethorphan, it happened twice. The first time I was numb and felt like I was leaving my body. The second time I could barely breathe due to respiratory depression and my parents called an ambulance, again I was numb and it felt like I was out of my body for some time. The dosage on both attempts was 2300-2400mg of DXM. Is it really possible to ctb from DXM only and how much would be needed?

As a fan of DXM I can say that it's possible to die from it, I've seen it happen. But it was probably due to complications of taking the drug in a mixed form with Acetaminophen.

As to how much it'd take there is no definitive answer to that. People can withstand ungodly amounts of the substance and still survive. You may end up tripping so hard that someone finds you and rescues you, as you stated.

Not a pleasant death regardless, I'd definitely not recommend it.
