Drowning

Hi,
I am searching for ways to make it look like an accident so I don't hurt my family, I am thinking about drowning …. We're going to the beach those days…. Does anyone researched this topic? How long does it take to die? Is it painful? Is it easy to do?

It is a painful method. There is a reason waterboarding was/is used as a torture method. If you've accidentally choked while drinking water before, you sort of know how it feels. Sea water would be worse bc it is salty and slightly more corrosive.

Besides, the problem with doing it in a public place like a beach is the possibility of getting rescued, and fail the attempt. Worse, depending on the timing, your brain would start to be deprived of oxygen a short while after you start drowning, so getting rescued after this could result in brain damage.

In sum: please don't do it if possible.

I prefer hanging.

Unless insurance would deny claims, no need to fake an accident. They'll be sad either way.

Honestly, drowning in a lake is my planned method. I need mine (for insurance purposes) to look accidental. I've started wild swimming and paddleboarding in lakes so have my back story at the ready so it doesn't look suspicious. Just need to pick my day, go on a wild camp and do it.

To be frank, it being painful for a minute is the least of my worries, it might not even be painful, but at least it'll certainly look accidental which is all I need.

i would consider drowning only with sleep pills and alcohol. sudden blackening out in shallow water, bathub or pool is much better than overcoming SI and knowing your lungs will be filled water and you choke yourself to death before getting sunk
