Anyone else have dreams like this?
And how does it affect you?
Its ones like this that scare me, i want to love and be loved but what if my dreams become reality.
This is one i had a couple years back and i have no one to talk to about it.
Its not entirely why i want to ctb but can i truly be happy always fearing myself?

I'm in a forest in the middle of the day, looking at a grand white marble/stone mansion.
I creep up to the back of the building, and climb up to the second or third floor, I sneak through the window and approach a girl in a slim red sleeveless knee length dress, standing near the stairs, she had shoulder length auburn/ ginger hair, she didn't know I was behind her, no one saw me.
Then there was a knife in my hand and before I thought about why I had it, before i realized it, i stabbed her in the back.
She let out a gasp and fell to the floor. Absolute silence.
I stood there shocked at what I did, the realization of the permanence of my actions shackled me in place, I couldn't run, I couldn't move.
the dread of knowing what i did and that i could not escape, i could not take it back suffocated and drowned me like an ocean.
Then the screaming started and I woke up.

Sounds Jungian. Typically, young children in dreams represent our inner child or a time when we were young. You killing your younger self might indicate a betrayal of what she thought you would be, becoming something other than what you had imagined as a child. If you're female.

If you're male, the representation may just be more specific to your understanding of what she represents, what feeling you get from her in the dream. Maybe guilt at failing someone at one point. Or fear that you would.

Just tongue in cheek. There are more developed Jungian dream interpretation sites out there if you wanted to look and see if any of them make sense to you.

I had one that was pretty shocking when I was younger. I was going to a park I used to frequent with my friends. There were two men standing there. The sky was dark and boiling red: foreboding. A dark mist further obfuscated the scene. I walked closer, across the street and towards the small park when I saw a figure with long black hair, almost The Grudge style, but male, and with his back turned to me. Suddenly he quickly and violently smashes a hammer into the other two men, completely killing them. Blood starts pouring from the sky in a downpour, and the blood coats his hair and face. He turns around with an obscene smile, and I wake up in terror. To me, it meant that I had destroyed all my friendships.

You are the architect of your own visions, and as such you are the only reliable judge for what they ultimately represent and symbolise within you (if anything).
I do not dream so often, so I cannot offer much of a personal interpretation...

However, have you exhibited destructive and impulsive behaviour in your life before? I think you are more so afraid of that element of yourself, rather than the symbolic sudden killing of the victim in the dream, and what they represent..

I've had dreams like this too, and they always cause me a lot of distress. Even though none of it was real, it still sticks with me for weeks. At the end of the day dreams are out of our control, like intrusive thoughts or whatever else. It's your reaction to the dreams that counts and reveals your true feelings. The fact that these dreams cause you such pain is an indication that they aren't representative of the real you. I know that won't help get rid of the pain, but I hope that provides some context.
