Please tell me I am not the only one who has dreams wherein I am a passenger on a bus that is crashing, and am aware during my dreams that I am going to die.

I've been having recurring dreams wherein I am on a bus, in various settings and scenarios, but there is always one constant: I am going to die.

I get them pretty frequently. Usually I'll die heroically like in a war or in a car crash. Sometimes I get shot, hanged, drawn and quartered. I have dreams where my wife kills me, I get eaten by giant ass snakes, etc. I'm so used to them and it doesn't faze me anymore. Been having these dreams since I was a little kid. My nightmares are when dreams are just too good to be dreamt.

I too have been getting them more frequently. I've even sat up saying "I have to die". I don't remember how its been happening.

Very. Was with a friend who was driving and he died on impact. Thank whatever that I didn't see the aftermath since I blacked out but I remember the smell. There's nothing like the smell of burnt metal, blood, smoke and a hint of a those scented leaves fused together to remind me of that. It fucked me up. I dropped out of college, experienced the heights of existential despair, and ended up staying in the house for two years like I was in a Final Destination movie before I had problems with my family over not working and ended up homeless for a over a year. So much fun (sarcasm).

I never have dreams like this but last night I dreamt that I was pregnant. It was one of those dreams that you think is real until you wake up enough. It sucked I was so upset in the dream because I repeated getting pregnant outside of an appropriate situation.

No, but I'm usually suicidal in my dreams too lol. A dream where I finally go through with it would be an improvement. I can't get a break from life even in my sleep since it's plagued with dreams. How I long for a dreamless sleep even if only for few hours.

I had a dream about taking SN just a few days ago.

I've had frequent dreams where I'm in some type of crash and die. So far it's been a car going off a cliff, a helicopter crash and some other types of death. In the car crash dream my soul fled my body and flew towards the sky.

In some cases I do some types of dreams or nightmares those deju vu where it actually comes true like a self filling prophecy one nightmare was I have trazodone and I opened the pill cylinder and took how many I had in my mouth but for some reason I decided to spit them out it was dark in the dream either outside or in maybe my apartment room when I woke up from that dream I sometimes ask myself not in these exact words but more or less what the fuck was that all about?

Absolutely, although I'm not catching a bus. If we're going to use an acronym it's DBA (death by accident), or DBER (death by errant roller coaster), or, my preferred one, if I had a choice, (DBDWSWF) death by drowning while swimming with fishes . I have actually had all of those.

I use to normally just have dreams about dying in an accident, but mainly of my loved ones dying, which led to a bit of insomnia. Now, since becoming this level of suicidal that I feel, now I have dreams of "after" I CTB. Mainly they consist of me figuring out that I went through with it, and trying desperately to talk to my mom but she can't see me or hear me. So I guess that doesn't really make sense, being suicidal and feeling the dread of not being able to communicate. Guess I have to work on that.
