As far as I know, pdfs aren't executed, but, if you're scared, you can download it from a virtual machine and "print to pdf" to get a clean pdf

WAIT A MINUTE...I think it might have just been constant pop ups and I had to keep clicking to get the right page because now it's downloading under my downloads!!when i clicked the link and press download, another 'fake' tab opens with another button. that's just an ad, ignore it and go back to the first page, do that one more time - there you go.

It was not interesting enough for me to do any further research on it, so I can't give you answers to those questions. What I can tell you is that it requires user to run the setup.exe (which should make it harmless to anyone capable of thinking before clicking), and that the current version differes from the one I wrote about a month ago.
