Don't know where else to put this

I just read that we don't get search function til we've put up some posts, so here I am. I came from the Times article and I swear my guardian angel put it in front of me. I was gonna get slam-eyed drunk and cut my throat and wrists and from reading on here I know that would land me on the disabled list. I don't want to make my situation worse for crap's sake.

I have been reading a lot, but am pretty anxious for the search function and, at some point, want to run some ideas by you guys, but I don't want to cause trouble, so --- I'm trying to establish my being here. The 2 probs are I don't have a lot to say and I'm kinda diminished now - a nice way to say I'm on the stupid side. So I will try not to make you crazy and maybe you can have a little patience :)

Most important: thank you for being here. I am calmer knowing I'm not alone.

My original method was jumping, looking back I am glad extremely of this forum. It's crazy how information is withheld from public.

Most people's first thought about doing suicide is like hanging (but not sure what to do) or taking sleeping tablets (will never work)

I'm glad you found this place to give you the tools needed to make a decision either way.

I find even having knowledge of methods can make you have better quality of life.

Welcome! I'm glad I found this place too -- being actually informed on all this stuff has brought me solace in a lot of ways. I might have ended up doing something stupid like a paracetamol overdose if not for the information here. But aside from that, it's just really nice to know that there are other people who feel the same way as me. Whatever happen, I hope you find the community here helpful too, and I hope that you're able to make the decisions that are right for you.

We live in a world where our right to die is not respected and it is cruel how the society expects us to suffer for decades against our wishes. Nobody should have to resort to risky methods to end their suffering, it is very important that people are able to access method information. The thought of failing an attempt is absolutely horrifying. I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do and I hope that you find what you are looking for.

I have jumping in my back pocket, if need be, but I'm hoping to find something with pills so I can pass at home surrounded by my stuff - Grandma's afghan, photos, you know, comfort stuff.
