Domperidone Vs Metoclopramide

So i managed to get an antiemetic, finally, but it's Domperidone. It's on The Guide but Stan didn't specify the dose if you want to take it as a replacement for Metoclopramide. I heard that Domperidone is a bit weaker than Metoclopramide, but more pleasant. So, how much should you take Domperidone following the SN regime?

I got it from my dad since he's a doctor, but it's not like he wrote me an official prescription before that...

Looks like no one really knows how Domperidone should work following the SN regime :(

Everything you read on drug measurement and timings are just best guesses anyway. It's not like it's been medically tested in a lab for SN.

Both domperidone and metoclopramide should do their job. Both are dopamine antagonist so they work in similar way and both speed up gastric emptying.
The difference is that domperidone doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier so it doesn't cause EPS. As an anti-emetic, that doesn't concern us as the chemoreceptor trigger zone is outside of B-B barrier.

I think double or triple a therapeutic dose should suffice but everyone has its own particularities when it comes to this, e.g, some people might be more sensitive than other to the taste, etc.

...guess i'll just go with the same dose for meto, then :/

You shouldn't take more than the recommended daily dose since side effects are more likely.

The recommended daily dose is the same as meto, 3x10mg per day.
