Does Zofran/ Ondansetron work as an ae for SN.

Is it strong enough? Would combining it with something over the counter achieve the same effect as meto? I also have Valium. Would taking that before help?

When my cat was throwing up a couple years ago, she took ondansetron and it didn't really help much. But maybe others have a different opinion.

Some benzos I can't tell you which is the best subtitute but Stans guide does list a number of relevant AE's, their mode of action and availability so that's probably got answers for you. Buccastem M contains the active ingredient prochlorperazine meleate and has some things in common with metoclopramide. It's available over the counter in some countries. I think some of the other ones mentioned are too. Obviously that will vary. The buccastem m does have significant side effects to consider much like Meto. Though the risks for EPS are higher. People react differently to AE'sm some feel no issues where some are left with long term, significant, issues. Its a bit of a dice roll.
