I've tried partial and I would say it's pain and SI. KInda feels like your heads gonna explode right?
I don't know too much about it and I likely won't try again unless I'm having an episode, cause I'll do damn near anything when it comes to that.

Whether you use partial or full suspension, the position of the rope is important. It must be in the right position to provide pressure against either the carotid or jugular. The knot for the noose must allow the rope to slip freely in order to provide sufficient pressure. When done correctly, you pass out very quickly with no chance for recovery. Full suspension is really not survivable unless your knot or mounting point fail or someone finds you in time.
With either method overcoming SI is not easy.

I don't think partial works reliably. All the failed attempts I read about were partial. I think it is just too easy to stand up. Maybe it is a good preview of what to expect before you attempt full.

It is hard to get right, but once you do the fast unconsciousness is rewarding. I only had my vision rapidly decrease before my SI kicked in and I stopped.

i feel like the important part is finding the spot/position where the rope effectively closes up your trachea and then the carotid artery without closing the jugular vein, so the overwhelming pressure on the head you otherwise feel very early on doesn't stop you until you pass out.

i wish it were more simple. this is currently my preferred method, but i still haven't found that sweet spot.

they both induce pain and si unless you find the sweet spot where it knocks you unconscious

But the jugular vein is close to carotid how to avoid jugular but press the carotid??
