I am 5'6" Male, I have always had a weird relationship was fat...I was never fat...but, then I developed a binge eating disorder and went up to 102kg...then, I developed an anorexic phase and dropped down to 65kg...now, I am back up to 90kg...I don't know if my neck is too chubby to be compressed and I will choke to death?

Any thoughts...

Answering to the topic: No. You just need a stronger rope and a stronger anchor point. That's all.

I'd imagine that with a strong rope and a strong anchor to secure it, you'd be fine. I have tested with my webbing belt and shutting in a door and the force it takes for me to move it is very high, almost more than I can manage with full weight pulling own.

Genuinely not trying to be rude or anything, but won't it make it even easier since more weight is constricting your neck? Either way, I don't think it matters too much, since you pass out in a matter of seconds anyway.

I'm fat and I couldn't get partial to work. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I suspect that being fat made it harder to compress my arteries.

out of curiosity, if you dont mind me asking, how heavy are you? ive probably gained about 5-10kg in the last few months, so im somewhere around 95-100kg. I plan to use partial in the future to ctb, do you think it would work for me?

I always wade in here wrong. Are you doing a long drop or just dangling off the end of a rope? I know nothing about the second type, or American judicial hangings. Just don't use the thin stuff or you might just end up with infected, weeping neck wounds and an inability to even try any more. My neck's injured from partials and knocking myself out. Sorry I'm no help but sending loads of love x

I'm 400lb or 181kg and my method is full suspension. With this comes the fear of my neck breaking due to the weight pulling on my neck or even being decapitated. (Edit): I think you would pass out as soon as anyone else would, assuming your body weight is enough to push the rope against youd carotid arteries.

I'm about 100kg and 170cm tall so were about the same weight. I honestly have no clue if it will work for you. My advice is to experiment with different ropes, padding and on different spots on the neck. Try to also use different positions like standing and then kneeling downwards or leaning away from the anchor point or laying and letting your head hang off the rope. Id also try to make yourself pass out by blocking the arteries with your hands. Remember the results and try to figure out what works for you.

For me the closest I got was leaning away from the anchor point as that made it easier to apply the pressure on my neck and the rope was right below my Adam's apple. I managed to get a little visual weirdness, weird tingly feeling on my hands and a bit of weakness on my legs, but sadly I never managed to pass out.

Also I'm of course a guy who never managed to partial successfully so id recommend that you do more research then what I wrote, but I'm sure you were going to do that anyway.

Your body weight should be more then enough to apply the pressure to your carotid arteries. As far as I know, you'll pass out as fast as anyone else
