Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The reason I have asked is because sources on Google have conflicting information. I am just curious if they are currently installing, about to install in the near future, or are they almost about finished installing?
I went ahead and did some search. If I'm not wrong, they are in the process of installing it or they are almost to begin. They predict that it will take around 2 years and that it will be almost done by the end of 2022. Answer is: There is not a net. YET. But soon they will start, if they didn't already.
I had a co worker jump from the bridge a few years ago. Didn`t make it.
Why the Verrazano? The bridge you jump from is just about as high as the Golden Gate bridge.
When you hit the water, you`re at max velocity so if you land on your head, it`s like swan diving into a cement block.
If you watch the movie `The Bridge`, you`ll realize that most people don`t die instantly. They wind up breaking their legs and are unable to swim so they drown, or they hemorrhage from massive internal injuries.

I see. So they have started it as in maybe parts of the bridge have the fully built nets, right? OR, do they have just a framework throughout the entire bridge? I hope that question made sense.

Wow, I am sorry to hear that. The Golden Gate Bridge has nets making it impossible. That is why it is no longer the "hot-spot" anymore. Verrazano may have theirs finished by the end of 2022 from what I have heard.

Looking more into it, seems like there is some sort of net already in place, some kind of tall fence that was placed as a prototype. About the other net, I am not sure if it there already. If you want to look into it and get pictures, take a look at this article.

Ah, I see. Thanks for this. Yeah, it looks like they are prototyping it by installing some net per each sector throughout the bridge. Oh, the other net you are referring to is the Golden Gate Bridge, right? All I know is that there are conflicting sources on the nature of it.

No, in all my posts I am referring to the "fence" in the Verrazano-Narrows bridge. My guess is that they are going to install some sort of net, just like on the Golden Gate but for now, the prototype is that "fence" they built but soon enough that net will be in place.
