"I sold my life for 10,000 yen per year" isn't exactly about suicide cuz they don't literally commit suicide (and it's also a manga/novel, not an anime) but like the thought process and the mc's depression is definitely reminiscent of suicidal ideation and ig you can kinda count selling parts of your lifespan as suicide in a way

It's about A boy named Haruto Tsukishiro falls asleep one night and becomes trapped in a dream realm, where he must battle powerful witches, while the waking world refers to these witches as victims of sleeping beauty syndrome "people who are trapped in there dreams basically" and while by dream hopping haruto searches for a way to awaken himself and these victims plagued by the sleeping beauty syndrome helping them overcome their traumas keeping them there.
Some of the girls just dont want to wake up.


There's also sunny boy The plot handles suicide and death subplots through three specific narrative elements..
suicide and the concept of death function as major literal and allegorical plot points. Because the alternate dimensions "This World" grant the stranded students immortality, death must be artificially introduced, which heavily links to the theme of escaping reality

Thats a classic but its a Manga I didnt know if the user wanted anime seires or Manga
I know there are more suicide type animes but in this moment I cant think if them all, my happy sugar life ends with suicide, but I know theres more I've just been drinking and my minds a little clouded
I guess theres also angles of death

Death Parade is more about death in general but touches on suicide too. Very beautiful anime, philosophical slice of life anthology sort of thing, would highly recommend it.

just finished this, holy shit this was beyond peak i dont know what i was expecting, but i dont know if i can feel the same about another manga ever again.

The Tatami Galaxy (Yojōhan Shinwa Taikei) repeatedly touches upon it. Even if suicide itself isn't a main theme, the anime is all centered around psychological anguish. Very good and funny show, perhaps my favourite anime.

The Tatami Galaxy is great, actually all of Masaaki Yuasa's movies are amazing. I personally would also recomend Paranoia Agent by Satoshi Kon.
