Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Was wondering what the process is to file for disability because of depression and anxiety. My job is so emotionally draining and makes my depression worse I dont know how much longer I can deal with it. My mother gets disability for depression, anxiety and PTSD. I also have all of the above but the difference is I'm physically able bodied and young.

No, I don't have disability problems but... But I believe that should be very frustrating. We are here to support and listen you without prejudice. So I send a hug to you . Cheers!

My therapist offered once, and I refused. I was only diagnosed with depression and my body was fine. She wanted me to go to a PHP, which is partial hospitalization, but this was right a little after involuntary hospitalization so it was a no go for me. She tried to convince me saying she wouldn't have to give a lot of detail to my job either, because if they knew everything that happened they probably wouldn't have kept me on. I worked as courier driving a large truck, they would have scaled me down to warehouse worker because legally they couldn't fire me for that reason, but they sure would be looking for another reason. I'm sure she said she'd done it before. Also, she is a psychologist, meaning she has a doctorate which I think it has to be a doctor to declare you as disabled.

I get it for that and substance abuse and methadone maintenance, but before it was for depression. You can try I'm not sure how it works where you live. You'd have to see a psych and fill out a bunch of forms, honestly it's worth it so you don't have to work. Working while depressed is ultimate torture, there's no way I can work in my condition.

I've been getting disability for the last 4 years due to social anxiety . I did initially have my claim rejected due to my Gp not giving enough information but I appealed it and it was accepted. I'm in the republic of Ireland so could be different in whatever country you're from

Ah sry then I can't advise, I'm in the UK, no idea how it works over there. A general tip I'd offer though, when filling in the forms or having an assessment: do some web research and find the point scoring system for the criteria that they measure. Then you can pre assess yourself, see if you might qualify by their criteria. You can also make sure you don't miss certain things in the way they assess.

They're going to look at which of all your symptoms you have consume the most of your "work". Somewhat rate the disruptiveness if it outweighs the work performance you can give, and give you a letter.

For SSDI, it's all or nothing, so there's no "rating".

I get disability for bipolar disorder though I do work as well. Go to the Social Security Administration and fill out the forms. They almost always deny everybody on the first try but they did not with me.
