Discussion Does anyone have dreams of suicide?

I had a nightmare last night that I failed to CTB. I don't remember much else about it, but it was the first time I ever had a dream of my own suicide.

Has anyone else had dreams like this?

i get really bad dreams if i happen to oversleep past my alarm, many of those are me reliving my last attempt, it's fucked. ruins my whole day

I've had dreams where I killed myself, but it was a sort of defense mechanism when I had nightmares. As soon as I realized it was a nightmare, I would immediately kill myself in it, thereby waking up (though to be honest, I'm not sure if I realized I was in a nightmare every time, or if it was just a built-in reflex by that point)

When I was 16 or 17 i was going through a particularly rough time and I had a dream I drove myself out to the middle of nowhere in the woods and shot myself in the head, it felt so weird and realistic and I was so calm and happy in the dream, then woke up terrified. One of the weirdest dreams I've had so far.

Yes. I watch a lot of gore footage and usually dream about myself or my friends in the scenarios I watched.

I've dreamt of killing myself a few times. Or other people killing themselves. Last time I had a vivid dream about my suicide, I realised that someone found out some shameful stuff about myself and they were going to tell everybody, so I immediately walked to the railway and laid down, waking up when the train decapitated me.

I either have dreams about being killed, or dreams where my life would be the complete opposite to what it is now. Both bring relief. The thought of finally passing away always brought immediate relief in my dreams.

I've been having dreams of committing suicide or being killed, although I've had a few where I am the killer. A lot of these come from unknown sources; these happened way before I was suicidal.

I can only describe, what I remember. Dreams are a bit hard this way
I was hiding behind a concrete pillar, when a atomic bomb was going off.
I knew exactly, I was gonna die. I felt the heat, the blast (in the dream).
I was holding up the breath because of the nuclear particles.
But I felt ok with this. It was like: Ok, that's it finally.
When I woke up, I was still holding up breath.
My bed sheets were soaking wet of my sweat.
The first 20 sec I couldnt believe it was just a dream.
And then my painless pain continued with life...

I had a dream where I tried to CTB by jumping out my bedroom window. I landed on my feet no problem. I tried a few more times with the same result. It was a very peaceful dream.

Yes, I've had dreams several times in which I killed myself. My subconscious is telling me that I want to and must do it. I also wouldn't mind if someone freed me from all the horrors of this meaningless existence, which causes only unbearable mental and physical torment. Death is so desirable to me...

I recently dreamed that I OD'd, but I puked by choice. I guess I was proving a point to myself that I could do it? Idk.

I recently dreamed that I was being yelled at for trying to do something with good intentions slightly wrong, breaking some stuff of mine that I valued and that gave me comfort, crying, going to some tracks and staring into the light.

Yes, I have dreams all the time of the many ways I can kill myself, from blowing my brains out to jumping from a bridge to setting myself on fire. I also have dreams about being among the dead and finally feeling seen and at peace.I feel the dreams about the dead are just confirming where I'm headed in life.

I dreamt that someone else died and woke up jealous. That was so weird. To not be upset about the other person dying. Just jealous because it wasn't me…

Recurring dreams of confronting a mass shooter, trying to distract them so others can escape, but falling backwards in the corridor, landing on my back looking straight at the shooter and them blasting me in the chest three times with a shotgun.

I can feel the impacts on my body each time.

Then I wake up
