• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Okay I'm gonna go to the shops, let me get up. While getting up, I think I need to get dressed let me find a pair of pants. In the process of looking for pants, I begin an imaginary conversation with someone in my head and multi-task that while looking for pants, but I'm incredibly slow at finding said pants, and I get lost in the conversation a bit. Then I think oh I need my phone, so I can use it to pay at the shops and I start looking for that. Mind you, I haven't found my pants yet. Then I get the phone, and I open it, I check its battery percentage. Now that I've opened the phone I get an urge to be on reddit. Let me open my laptop and see if there's any notifications on sasu.

Like, DAMN brain, let me stay on one fucking task until I finish it.

And, unless I'm consciously turned ON, I find the path of least resistance for me is to be spread literally everywhere. I can consciously break this cycle but it costs a lot of willpower. I eventually exhaust myself and let myself go...

this isn't super relatable to me in regular life, but this is just exactly what happens while i'm reading.. it usually doesn't bother me much, but nowadays the TBR that comes out of this habit is getting ridiculous

I don't think I have the same problem as you do, but I tend to procrastinate like hell before some tasks.
When I was living alone and had to do groceries for myself every few days, I could literally wake up at 9 am, think of going to the store and not fucking do that until like 2 pm, meanwhile all that time in between i just either doomscrolled something or sat on my bed looking at nothing or played some games while still having in mind that I have to go. So during all that time I felt pressure and frustration, because I want (and have) to go shopping, but I just can't. This ruins my whole day.
I noticed that I still have that damn habit. I think it has to be related to my social anxiety.

same... though what's frustrating is that even when I stop procastinating I'm just ass at whatever I'm supposed to do. Takes me way too long to accomplish
