Sometimes, yes. I try to remember to be grateful that I had these experiences at all, rather than to be sad that I will never have them again. Obviously that can be more easily said than done (particularly if I feel to blame for one reason or another), but I find it an important thing to remember; I am lucky to be able to miss things.
