Honestly, I think not many people could find or identify me. Actually, I have 3 close friends who know I am on Sanctioned Suicide. And they never were on the site themselves. In theory they could check my suicidality when reading my posts. But honestly none of them would put the effort into it. Even though they are very very good friends.
Why should anyone less involved in my life be interested in me? I have made some enemies in my life. But actuallyI don't see any of them reading suicide forums...in my country this forum is a very small niche and I only found one extremely small German outlet mentioning the name of this forum.

And honestly I write so much shit what is going on in my mind. I have the tendency to assume my thinking was transparent to others.
I think not even members of self-help groups I visited could recognize what I write about my psyche and assign it to my identity. It is way way too much. I think one should be more careful with personal information where one lives and stuff like that. And I try to be really careful and I change some details in my stories to make it less likely to be identified.
But these analyses of my psyche. I think you could never match my elaboration of mental issues on here with my personality after a meeting.

And then the time is passing. And most of the stories I tell on here will be forgotten by most people who were involved. And then there is also the bias because I describe the story how I perceived it. And this can be fundementally different compared to other people and their perception of the story.

So my family doesn't understand English. My sister understand English but told me life is the most precious think one has in real life. I doubt she will find her way to this forum. But she also doesn't understand the concept of autism. So I guess she could not recongize me.

Maybe I am wrong with this consideration. It would be an interesting thread idea. But I have the feeling the Germans the problems of Germans on here differ to the problems of English speakers. This is no competition of suffering. I don't know the German community that well. But I have some explanations for this difference in Germany it is very hard to find this place. And you have to do a lot of research on suicide methods to find this site. In contrast in the US and UK the media is full of stories about this place and these scummy True Horror (or whatever) Youtube channels report about this place attracting way too many young people. This might lead to the effect that Germans already invested more time in research about suicide when hearing about this place for the first time.
On the other hand, I think in the US college debts, homelessness or lack of therapy and medication is more common.

In addition to that, another interesting thread Idea would be that suicide rates in Germany and most Western countries declined significantly over past decades. Except for the US. They suspect the opiod epidemic and the access to guns to be drivers.

I think I am quite glad that there is not much German coverage about this place. I wonder whether this will change in the future. I wonder whether one day there will a big new coverage "dark pro-cult forum" taken down. I cannot really imagine that. For that there are not enough German users on here. The German authorities will know about this place since it is now harder to find the place with google searches in my country. For me the access was never blocked though.

I have nothing sophisticated to say. It is way too hot here.

I think my idiosyncrasies would give me away to anybody who knows me in the Prime Material Plane. The site is legal here and I don't break any laws. So I'm not cheering to be doxed but I am not shielding who I am either.

Yeah, hardly anyone in Germany knows about this forum. It's pretty niche, and if someone does know about it, chances are they've already looked into this kind of topic themselves.

I actually had to download DuckDuckGo just to get this site to show up properly. So I'd imagine most people who just use Chrome, Safari, etc. would have a pretty hard time finding much about it anyway, since a lot of this stuff gets filtered.

I also think Germany is pretty careful about how suicide is talked about publicly because of the Werther effect. The media tend to follow strict reporting guidelines to reduce the risk of copycat suicides, so I doubt there's much detailed reporting about this in German, especially from major or public service media outlets. The suicide rate in Germany has gone up a bit in recent years, but it's still roughly around 10,000 cases a year. One thing I do find interesting is that hanging seems to be much more common here, whereas on this forum it feels like a lot more people talk about SN instead at least that's the impression I get. I would have to look into how it is in English speaking countries as well.

I honestly don't think anyone would find me here. Maybe someone could recognize me from my profile picture, but they'd have to randomly come across my profile first. And as far as I know, you can't even search for usernames here. Even if someone did find me, though, what could they really do? I feel like most people would probably just try to ignore it because they don't want to deal with something negative or emotionally heavy

If someone who knew me well in reality read enough of my posts here, I believe they would easily be able to deduce my identity. This wouldn't trouble me immensely, though I might feel a tinge of guilt over an old friend finding out how poorly I'm doing and potentially worrying about me.
