Do you live in a large city or small town?

I currently live in a larger city and I'm planning on moving to another major city after having finished my studies. Would you rather recommend a rural or urban area for ctb? Does it matter? Where you be more likely to stay undetected?

Technically my city is referred to as "the biggest little city" so I'm not really sure lol. Most likely a big city so there's less eyes and nosiness. I like big cities because I can disappear easily.

I live in a small city unfortunately. Would love to live in a massive one. I don't want people to look at or talk to me at all so big cities are definitely much better to live if you want to be undetected, although usually much more expensive.

Doubt it matters much but it also depends on your country to an extent. Personally I'll be doing it in a big-ish city because (a) I need a fairly high-end hotel (just so I don't attach a stigma and reduce business of a small hotel trying to survive) and (b) I need stable internet till last moment

what is your way? Preferable in a hotel that is? Aint it awesome if you dont have much you can splurge on a single night evennat a very expensive room?
