I was wondering if you knew some people where you had some connections or talk with who disappeared.

I was friends with someone who I loved to have "deep" conversations with, we shared a lot of the same views but also diverged on others.
It was very interesting, we would have the same train of thought, same foundations, observations and we'd highlight the same stuff, but sometimes our conclusions based on the same data would be so wildly different.
And yet we enjoyed going back and forth debating these different viewpoints, sometimes it would go into a more psychological field, sometimes it was more political etc...
Eventually life did it's usual thing and we talked less, until they eventually stopped responding. I didn't think much of it, I was busy with some obligations, until I heard from a mutual friend that they ctb.
I disliked the gossipy manner they talked about it and that I had to find out that way, but I was able to confirm it.
I hope they're resting well now, I'll treasure the conversations I had with them.
