• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i tried it a few years ago for chronic pain and it didn't work. i don't think i was hypnotised, but it must depend who you see because on the other hand the likes of Paul McKenna can do incredible stage hypnotism.

I looked into hypnosis to resurface supressed memories. I checked medical studies and , if I understood them correctly, science regarded hypnosis to resurface supressed memories as a myth that had no scientific basis. Even worse, you risked creating new memories that didnt exist to begin with.

But it was a long time ago and I have no medical background. Maybe I didnt understand what I was reading and hypnosis really can be of help in those cases.

I did hypnosis on myself for a few weeks and it did work. I recorded carefully worded affirmations into my iPhone with my own voice repeating each one 4 times and then naming each one. After relistening daily at least a few times a day. When I got up, around noon and then b4 bed with headphones for about 10 or 15 mins per session. It began to change the quality of my internal dialogue. It started to interrupt the negative unconscious thoughts. My suicidal ideation did improve. The problem was I didn't stick with it long enough and the progress reverted back to like I hadn't ever did the work. I've wanted to try again but I'm just so bitter and resistant lol! That it's tough to force myself to listen to positive affirmations. I slid too far into the negative mindset and just kinda gave up fighting back.

I don't trust anyone so no. And I don't know how to hypnotize myself.
