I want to OD but one of the side effects is nausea. I've tried ODing before but the nausea and vomiting was very uncomfortable and ultimately ruined my attempt. If I take an antiemetic will it eliminate this problem? Thank you, I hope you are all doing OK tonight.

It all depends on what substance you are overdosing and the type of antiemetic. I OD on benzos+alcohol in the past and had no nausea at all, despite the fact I'm that kind of person that can't take a ride on a car without puking.

By the way talking of antiemetics I think that dopamine blockers are the best choice.

Why wasn't the OD successful then, if you don't mind me asking?

Because it was probably the wrong type of benzos and wrong quantity. My recent comments on Alprazolam are based on new things I've read in the last days.

This discussion is born on famous people which died using Xanax and alcohol, after all... isn't it?

From my reading on this site it seems you have to get prescribed antiemetics to help as over the counter ones are not strong enough.

Benzos and alcohol really work?

Not the OP, but I think it's too much of a gamble. There's a lot of scare-mongering and exaggeration when it comes to mixing booze with benzos. Don't get me wrong, they are dangerous in their own right but it's mostly black out territory. I'd think twice before attempting.

Yes it works. There are a lot of misleading information on this forum, especially concerning benzodiazepines and their effects when combined with other substances.

By the way I don't care. I just found it funny that most people do not understand that benzos and Nembutal are essentially the same thing acting in a slightly different way, and that you can enhance alprazolam in order to achieve the the same effects of N on CNS.

Also to be noted that you are confusing overdose with fatal overdose. OD is NOT synonym of Death.

OK, you're smarter than everyone... Benzos & Nembutal, a barbiturate, are essentially the same thing... I'm speechless
