I found the dmc site is it really confirmed that it is legit? Has anyone tested the purity?
Also is it supposed to buy the food additive one or the food preservative?

DMC is definitely legitimate. Many users have CTBed from this source. It's also been tested many times by many people.

I bought the BASF food preservative one. The food additive one (nitrite salt) is a mixture of SN and regular salt. I'm not sure if any of his products other than the actual SN are actually being sold or if they're just for show, lol

Also I haven't tested the purity myself but DMC generally has a good reputation for selling high-quality SN. This thread has some interesting discussion about its purity following a bad test result.
