Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Has anyone considered making their birthday their time to go? It seems quite apt to me and I'd quite like to. My main issue, however, is that mine is the week after next and I'm not sure I'll have managed to summon up my courage by then. The idea appeals to me, though.
This is a good point as well. With me, I think only my mother would be particularly affected (others would get over it easily enough) and that would make that aspect easier to deal with.

That's funny, because I have the same idea and my birthday is in a few days, too XD. I like the thought, that all started and ends on this date. But I'm not totally sure about it... there is still a lot to do (e.g. write suicide notes, maybe buy a suit etc) and I'm a fcking lazy person or just too depressed XD

I know the feeling - if only this idea had come about a few months ago for some proper planning. Could always start the planning for next year's birthday but I want/need to have managed it by then...

I think is a good idea. I heard that someone did that. I chose Valentine's day the last time. But this time I think it will be another date ... birthday could be interesting. But currently I have no motivation of doing nothing. A pair of months ago I was more motivated to ctb and sometimes I was near.
I've considered doing similar. I think March 22nd to be like a second "birthday" of sorts, as that was the day my life ended and I became an ambulatory corpse.

I meant that I'm like a zombie: not entirely dead, not entirely alive. My spirit and vitality are gone, it's just that my body needs to catch up and depart as well. : )

For me february is the date. I got separated from my exwife and some years later (10 or so) from my girlfriend, the same month.
I think in february the wires in my brain cross and they get short circuit.

It might be best to send a private message, post on my profile or read my earliest post history. This is DreamsofDeath's thread on catching the bus on one's birthday anniversary after all!
